Foreign Buyers Take 40% of Units at New Jurerê Development

Developer CBA Empreendimentos reports that 40% of the 48 units in its Puerto Madero project — 150 meters from the beach in Jurerê Internacional — sold to buyers from Argentina, Germany, the United States, and Portugal, with 60% of the building already sold ahead of its official launch. Santa Catarina led all of southern Brazil in real estate transaction volume last year, and Florianópolis has posted some of the country's steepest price gains in the high-end segment. For prospective foreign buyers, it's a signal that the city's luxury inventory is drawing real international competition, particularly along the northern beaches.
